It seems that there aren't any traditional Honky Tonks since the world has gone PC (Politically Correct). Having a good time is as difficult as finding the correct gendered rest room. I've even been told that you'd die trying even if you looked. Well we found one, and it was just short of Death. That is to say just short of "Death Valley", in Pahrump, Nevada. Welcome to THE HUBB!
This place seems to have all those qualities you would expect in an establishment that boasts regular Live Entertainment with regular appearances on Sundays by the Reeve's Brothers from 3 pm to 7 pm , other area bands and events listed on their event calendar along with regularly scheduled Karaoke.
The Menu is a "short list" of bar favorites featuring "The Hubb Burger", and all entrees come complete with sides. It is a quick fix menu that won't take much time to serve and titled appropriately as "The Hubb Grub". The prices won't eat a hole in your wallet either as there isn't one item over $8:00. That leaves more than enough for a night of enjoying cold drinks, gambling and company for quite some time. And if you're inclined to stick around for another night, they have camping available as well.
As far as reviews go, their Facebook page shows 4.8 out of 5 stars 95 of which are 5 stars and only 1 single star. Trip Advisor has a total of 22 reviews. A total of 16 reviews
are "Excellent" the rest are "Very Good" and only 1 "terrible". I guess it is really true when they say "there's one in every crowd", or is it "you can't please everyone"!
If that isn't enough to convince you, let's leave it to the Pahrump’s first annual Chamber of Commerce "Pahrump Awards" where The Hubb took top honors for Best Local Bar and Best Karaoke.
So while Death Valley may be quite a journey for a local night out, it is certainly worth the trip if you are in the area and definitely a place you don't want to pass up if you are headed in that direction. I mean lets be sensible, if you are going to visit Death Valley, or leaving it behind, it only makes sense that
you would stop in and have a quick drink or two and a bite to eat. Just make sure you tell them that Born To Roam sent you!

ATTENTION: We will not have a February Issue due to the fact that we had the combined months of December and January as part of our Holiday Issue. During the month of February we will be doing site maintenance and graphic updates to our event partners. As part of these updates we have selected 4 partners to be our main page "Featured Favorites". We congratulate these partners for being selected based upon their involvement in charitable works, participation and overall dedication to serving a higher purpose and cause for the promotion of the American Biking Experience. It is our hope that through our Born To Roam Brotherhood we will continue to grow in both partnership and community so that we become the number one FREE website to promote "Biker Friendly" Hangouts, Services, Retail Products and Event/Destinations. We sincerely appreciate all those who have registered and supported us through this ever changing and growing community. It is our hope that we may, in whatever small way, help to promote and show the many good people, works and brotherhood of what is the prevalent yet silent bond between the Bikers across this great nation of ours.
